A must read . What a great way to learn the background of how important songs from the past were written both words and music other than The Star Spangled Banner as we all should know..I highly recommend this book and also written by Ace are the back grounds of some Christmas music.
I love finding out the stories behind music. I have purchased all the boos I could by Ace Collins so that I can better appreciate the songs. I have presented programs at my church about the origins and stories of some Christmas Carols and some of our countries songs. Great book.
Great little book full of possible trivia questions and some very interesting stories. I think I will get the other books in this group to learn the stories behind other great songs.
