Perfect design. Looked for a book like this. Other books have various elements like tab or chord boxes or notation or lyric lines...but not all elements, as this one does.The sizes of the notation and tab lines are perfect, too -- not too big and not too small.I don't write music. Going to use it just to work out songs by ear. I don't usually use tab, but just get the chords and then work it out. But the tabs will be useful for when I work out specific fingerings, and being able to integrate all elements -- notation, tab, and chords -- should help me enormously.This book is exactly what I needed.
Great value, 100 pages with the notation and the tab parts aligned one on top of the other and the chord boxes as well. Very effective for those that are learning songs, writing songs, just wanting to jot things down for later, or learning music/songs from DVD's that have no tab or music sheets included. It is a sturdy book, good binding, I've written quite a bit in it already and have had the front page bent all the way back and have had no loose sheets.
The layout and graphic clarity of the instructional pages in the front and back of this book are worth the price of this book alone.And the material presented in those pages are VERY helpful: all the fretboard notes, chord note make up, chord spelling, I, IV, V, V7, chords for major keys, etc.
This book is just what I wanted with room for standard music notation, tab, and chord boxes. Great for creating and documenting ideas.
not only did the book contain many pages of usable blank sheet music, but it also contained some pointers and a few standard lesson pieces for beginners like the chord scales as well as bar chords
Great book. Way more than I thought. This book not only has nice sheet music pages but a section of blank fret grids and a host of how to information. Well-organized.
This manuscript paper is exactly what you need if you want to write the music and tablature together. You can also add the chords, if you like.
