Placing on a book-stand, the size of the book from which you should learn your chord-playing and fingerstyle activities, is way too SMALL. You feel almost in need of a pair of glasses or a magnifying-glass to find out what your next step in this course is! The DVD and the 2 CD's are all right... But remember: the DVD covers only the first 45 pages of this 132 page booklet. The method itself is very pleasent. Within 3 weeks I managed to play a couple of nice popsongs. I practised (with sour finger-tips) about 20 minutes a day. And I cannot miss the tuning examples on CD1 !!
This book has some neat songs in it, but I really didn't use it much. It does a better job of getting you into playing than most courses out there, but I recommend "Guitar Basics" by Bruce Buckingham to really elevate your playing ability the quickest.
This is a good beginner course. It has good basic instruction for the guitar novist. Nice packing and quick shipment.
