I started playing Guitar Sophomore Year, this book was a big help. If I'm having trouble, I can look back in the book for help. Good for beginners!
I got this for my 10 year old son who has been playing for 4 months. Compared to the lessons he has gotten thus far from his teacher, it covers too little in a simplistic manner. A better book is Intro to Rock Guitar from the same publisher.
