If you're a teacher then this is great. I used it years ago in to 90's... looking at it today, it is great but only with a teacher. It's not something you can use to learn on your own, there are better books for that like "standards of excellence"... but this is better if you're going to be instructed through it. It introduces scales sooner and is better for developing a higher level of play. But this is a book you'll want in your library of resources once you're moving along learning.. great exercises in it. ..
