A must have book for every bass player who is serious about his craft and wants to have fun learning chords. After reading this book I acquired a much bigger vocabulary to use on my instrument, and now I have a better understanding of the harmony that goes into all of the tunes I play. The audio and the performances in the CD that comes with the book are excellent and they were very helpful to me. Go ahead, show the guitar player in your band who is the boss.
Again.... Hauser's book are it. Step-by-step and explaination clear and easy, even for someone without a deep understanding of harmony and theory.It gives a new approach to bass playing in a very musical sense.It's time to shed....
This book is full of good information and it explains the material clearly, this book is essential to all bass players wanting to improve and learn chords, I highly recommend this book, and all other MI books.
I am teaching myself how to play bass, this book is exactly what I need to further my learning and technique. The Hal Leonard books in general are easy to understand.
This book is great if you are an expert in play chords and sight reading tab. Not user friendly for beginners.
I am very happy and pleased with this educational book.
Good for the practice of Bass chords. But it would be nicer if it can provide chord progressions in each score.
