This Trombone booklet is great - it has exercises for all the major and minor scales, some more challenging than others. I'd say this book is for an intermediate player, perhaps someone in high school. It's been a while since I've played, so maybe I'm the rusty trombonist.
I hate etudes. There, I said it. I would rather play actual music. But sometimes etudes are necessary. If you are The Etude Guy and you need etudes to get you through your day, then you should love this book. I hate etudes but I love this book. I think they are well written and seem to cover a lot of different common keys/articulation patterns. Some of them are actually quite melodic - for etudes. It's a keeper, even if it's only a book of etudes.
This book was a great catalyst for my son to practice and has really improved his playing and love for his instrument. I recommend it heartily
