I received my UK published copy of 'Super Structures' to review without cost as part of the Vine Voice Review Scheme in UK. To the best of my knowledge, the content is the sameThis isn't a 'how-to' book for beginners to Minecraft, although it contains a lot of information about the game and the background to it.' Block Wonders: Super Structures in Minecraft' is a follow up book to author Kirsten Kearney's ' Incredible Minecraft Cities'.The 'super structures' of the book are vast, often iconic structures, (mostly, but not entirely buildings) created by the Minecraft community.The Minecraft enthusiast is taken through the necessary basic steps to recreate similar structures in screenshot tutorials, with the background to each structure and its creator(s) being given.These are huge structures, so it is impossible to give full details for each within the pages of this book, but there are lots of general tips for each type of build with every specific tip having a screenshot.For example, there are general tips on adding interesting flooring, vegetation and steps to recreate the look of Aztec and Mayan ruins. There are specific tips, such as using steps and half blocks rather than full blocks, to add extra details without making the structure too big. Screenshots make the points clear. Advice on using the WorldEdit tool is used extensively throughout to minimise the time spent on creation.
