T2P
What a great story. It helps that I'm a big fan of most of these guys. If they had out even more time into it, that would have been great. Still a must read for anyone that's heard of Optic Gaming. #GreenWall #T2P #GreenMachine #OG
I bought this book with every intention of reading it on my flight next week. Mistakenly, I figured, I'd read a little of the first chapter. Two hours later, I'm halfway done with entire book. It's well written and engaging. Must read if you're GREENWALL.
Somewhat similar to other books by YouTubers, this book takes you through the journey of OpTic Gaming form its humble beginnings to becoming the e-sports giant it is today.Personally, I am a fan of optic gaming which makes me interested in knowing their story. But for anyone else looking for book to pass their time, this is not what you are look for. Only the people who are aware of e-sports and call of duty will enjoy this. The way this book is written in a format I have not seen before. The authors take turns narrating their own experiences in each chapter about the different stages of their careers. My personal favorite is the story of nadeshot, he started out small.. became big... and went down unexpectedly. The authors wanted readers to get more involved with e-sports after reading this book, but the message was not conveyed in the best way possible.Overall the journey of optic is a roller coaster ride with a happy ending. This is what the authors wanted to share with the fans through the book.At the end it didn't feel like I was reading a book, rather it was more like watching a podcast of all the members narrating their story, but this is just me. You may have a very different opinion about this. It is worth giving this book a shot.
Some of these boys have incredible stories... Certainly a persevering story for anyone who wants to chase their passion and love for the Gaming industry.
I only got the book because I like Optic Formal, and I think he's cute. Also I got the book because I have a MLG team and needed inspiration for us to get us to the top of the leader board when we do game battles. I read it and gave inspiration to my team and now we're top 250 out of 5,000 teams. It's great for inspiration.
Being a fan of OpTic Gaming for many years, it is really awesome to finally see their biggest members share their stories. Whether you are into video games or not, this book is a great read simply because it is not just about video games but it's also about their personal lives and how they have been changed by competitive gaming. I have learned a lot about these authors that I had never known before. While many might not think a book about eSports and video games would be interesting, there are a lot of struggles each of these people had to go through in order to become the successful organization that they are today.
#T2P OpTic Gaming is the best team out there! The stories are amazing, and I do have to agree that if you are not a fan of e-sports it might be difficult to understand what is happening within the book, but overall fantastic set of stories and people.
