Nice! I am still exploring the book, but the book is worth owning. if you can play positions one through four you can play most of the musical phrase s. You will play most of the musical phrases with intermediate knowledge. However, you should know some positions fifth to thumb positions and tenor clef to play through the pieces completely. I do not care to play through the pieces completely and I am happy getting the 80% of the music. I can play up to the A and D in seventh position.
The staffs are way too lightly printed for easy reading.
Includes three parts, Cello, Bass, and Piano, good price for all six of the Marcello sonatas. Double bass plays in orchestral tuning, the highest pitch is A an octave above open G.
This is perfect for my little player and his teacher. My kid improved even faster while his teacher can instruct him thru the piano with intunation, rhythm, and challenging measures.
