This is book 3 in the Wardham series but you can certainly read it as a standalone as the author does a great job incorporating the characters of the town from the first books and gives you a synopsis of their stories. Obviously, if you read the others first, I do think you would enjoy this one even more.I loved Evie in the first book. She is a struggling single mom of 2 boys but has great family support from her mom and sister and runs a yoga/fitness studio. She is gorgeous yet her self-esteem has taken a big hit due to her divorce but she doesn't complain and is so incredibly likeable and strong. She takes a long overdue weekend away thanks to her mom and meets Liam at the hotel bar. Ok, Liam is truly the perfect man. OMG...you will love him and wish we could all meet a Liam. There is instant chemistry bewteen them and Evie let's loose and they do indeed have a one night affair. However, she leaves in the middle of the night and doesn't even know Liam's last name or where he is from. Even though they used protection, Evie finds herself pregnant and while she is freaked out, she has always wanted more children so she is also happy. She sets to try and find Liam and she does....since Liam has come to town to find her and ask her out! Let the fun begin! This is a great story between two people who find their way to each other. Evie is of course aprehensive and I was a bit frustrated with her actions but as the story unfolds, you can understand her and it all makes more sense to me as to why she kept giving Liam mixed singles. Liam is simply perfect. He is 7 years younger than her but really handles everything perfectly. You don't get to hear much about his upbringing...you get some of the story and I would have liked a bit more but it's enough to understand him as well.
