These are inspirational and/or motivational sayings added over the Shutterstock designs/patterns many of us already have. In other words, the designs themselves are nothing new. The only thing nice is that these designs are not the black-heavy ones we keep seeing in the other coloring books sourced from Shutterstock/Istock. I’m not much into coloring pictures with text. This book has positive sayings on the pictures, and, I have to admit, I will be coloring some of them. If you like text coloring, you will definitely like this book. There is a good variety of styles throughout. I have the PDF version, and, I believe the pictures are double-side printed, and, I can’t say what the paper quality is. I can say that the ink usage for printing is not too bad. Same old designs with the motivational messages added. At least these do not have the heavy,dark lines that waste my ink! This is a very uplifting coloring book! Each picture has words of wisdom designed into it. The images are quite complex and detailed and could be a bit overwhelming to color. My favorite quotes are "It okay not to be perfect" and "I don't need therapy. I need a hug!" and my favorite images are "Stay Curious" and "It's Always Coffee Time". "Disclosure: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review"I would not usually go for this type of colouring book so I was pleasantly surprised when I looked inside to find that I liked the content. Some of the pages seem very 'busy' so the sayings do not necessarily stand out which I would have expected in this type of book. There are some pages which I will colour in and would display at some point. As to whether I would have bought this book I'm afraid the verdict is still not out.
A lovely selection of designs to colour with inspirational messages on them. The subject matter is diverse and some of the pages are very whimsical and others are cute but it is a very nice variety and I think I will quite enjoy doing these pages. The preview gives you a good idea of what to expect and shows one of my favourites, the "always time for coffee".I was given a free pdf for my review.
I need to disclose that I received this book gratis in return for an honest and unbiased review. Being a typical male, I am not generally into the cute slogan pictures that are supposed to be self affirming and 'feel good'. This selection has the positive messages and striking designs, but they are clever and the messages are subtle and not overly cloying.
