Although I found some interesting stuff in this book...I don't think it was worth the money. I have the first book and I think there is a lot more information in there. The first book had a lot of different things... This has the same thing tweaked several ways...it seems like they just wanted to rush and get another book out.
This is a great resource for ideas and eliminating creative block. If you feel stuck in creative rut just open this book up and pick a page to try. Or simply flip through the pages and you will be instantly inspired to create something. Most projects can be done with basic art and craft supplies but if you don't have something on hand the materials can be easily found. The subject matter of the art is diverse and will appeal to wide variety of artists from formal to abstract. This book could be fun to use as a daily "to-do" guide for your creative time. By the end you would have 101 pieces of art and an entire vocabulary of mixed-media skills.
I am an art teacher and I found this book interesting and full of great ideas we might use for ATC's and collage works of art.
