I am using these tapes while I am on the treadmill. Of all the language tapes, I prefer these for the step by step way they teach, the repetition and the clarity of the voices.I am very pleased with this product - a great vehicle to prepare for a trip!
I used this to review Spanish for a trip after a couple of decades of not using it. I liked the voices and the choices of words and phrases. My only complaint is that some sections of the recording switched around the order of the languages in a way that seemed wrong. Most of the time it was English first, but in a few sections they put the Spanish first and thus the languages seemed out of sequence and out of sync. If I knew no Spanish at all, this could have tripped me up.
Has all the basics needed to communicate. As it is organized by situations/places that one would expext to encounter while traveling, it was very helpful in quickly locating quick translations for those situations. A big help.
I went to the Dominican Republic and took this book and I have to say it was invaluable. I learned so much and whenever I needed a phrase or word it was there for me.
