I started with full marks for these mini booklets on prominent master artists. The content is commensurate with the amount off information/text. The images are of excellent quality and fit very well on my tablet's viewer with excellent picture quality.
This is a creatively designed book, as a book on art should be, of course. I could hardly wait to open it but it was 1:30am. Just a peek I thought. Before I knew it the clock read 6:07am. I couldn't put it down until the last page was turned. WARNING: it will leave you hungry for more information on Gustav Klimt's life. Now I buy another book :-)
This is another great book in this masters series. There may be one or two of Klimt's oeuvre I didn't like but to see the depths of his work and the elaboration of his style was wonderful.
Very informative little guide. This was a impulse buy but I'm happy to have the pictures on my kindle. They are beautiful and you can zoom in to see details.
Good book and good illustrations !I like this way of representation. it is more instructive for me.Hope that this may be the model for other books of this kind
Great summary for one of the best painters around. Went beyond tradition oil painting parameters and introduced nouveau art and metallurgy into paintings.
I was surprised by the high quality of the photographs. Just enough written history I enjoyed the entire reading experience !
Good collection but image file sizes are too small to register the true luscious details of Klimt's works.
