This is a really useful book. The tunes are standards, so they are ones that will come up in jams. Each tune includes both basic versions of the tunes and slow, so you end up knowing the tune really well. Matt is an amaziing player and the tunes contain lots and lots of 'core' ideas that you can use in different tunes. Finally, the CD band - which includes David Grier on guitar - let's you both hear the solos and play along with them, so it's a great tool for practice. A super package.
Part of the same series for the other members of the group wishing to learn the same tunes and in the same key that the banjo (and guitar version) are in. Worth it.
