too easy to play, not the authors fault, but it would be a great help if , made a preview of one or two pages in order to determine the degree of difficulty
With any instrument book/cd there should be at least one lesson(s), recorded example of that lesson(s) and recorded tune that would use the lesson(s). In this book/cd all are present. Doc Rocci and Centerstream has a done wonderful job with this Irish Mandolin book/cd. There are a number of lessons, examples, and tunes all recorded on mandolin in this book. 20 irish tunes for you to learn from this book recorded twice at a moderate tempo. Outstanding Irish mandolin book/cd! Five stars? Should be ten!
I rate this as a fair learning tool. maybe better for a more experienced player
Very comprehensive. I am not at that level yet but I anticipate in reaching my goal sooner rather than later with the information within this book.
