When reading "Money, Saving Money, and Success," I have to say it helped me in so many ways. We always tell our children that money grows doesn't grow on trees. They have to get out there, get a job, and start saving. I know for some kids it's difficult to understand because their parents never discussed money in front of them. It's even worse when you are an adult, and married to someone who will not discuss finances with you. All of the sudden you are separated, you have no job, and no money. Well, I'm here to tell you it is a horrible thing to go through, but as I started looking into the many ways that I could get on my feet, I found Ace's book. He has written about many different strategies that can help someone like myself with how to save make and save money, which can lead you to success. I would like to point out a few ideas that I found helpful in each book.In the first book, "Money," Ace described a special exercise that can help you save money. He says, "Review your specific beliefs about money. Try to remember your most emotional memory you have had concerning money, and write down how it impacted your life. Say to yourself, I will not let this memory affect how I handle money today." This exercise is perfect for me because my worst memory about money was when my husband hid our funds from me. I promised myself that I would never let this happen again.In the second book, "Saving Money," Ace gives us another exercise on how to prepare a budget. "Prepare your own specialized budget so you are aware of just how much money you are spending each moth, and how much you need to save, Save copies of bills that you have paid. Figure out where your money is coming from.
