However, I am so not an expert on Jewish music, so my review is just based on the fact that this book serves my purposes very well. The words are there along with the music so when I get brave enough I can try to read/sing along. I am a Christian who loves Jewish music. I'm also studying Hebrew, and although I'm not very good at it, I thought I could practice the piano and learn Hebrew at the same time. That is working very well. It's almost a natural way to learn without as much stress as comes with my other methods of studying.I got to attempt learning some of these on a 22-day tour of Israel last year. Our group didn't do very well in our attempt to learn them. Anyone who heard us would have either laughed or cried. Our tour leader gave up on us very quickly, and I was thankful, because we were awful. I would like to learn some of these better now that I'm back home.I always want to know exactly what songs are included when I buy a book like this, so I will type them out here in case you feel the same way. Please ignore typos or alert me by comment so I can fix them.
