Mr. McAsh's book cover not only the long-established methodology of fight staging but also demonstrates some of the recently rediscovered research on authentic techniques. Definitely ahead of the curve.
...because this is a bit of a fireside chat. It's not terrible and there are certainly nuggets of wisdom, but words that don't come to mind are "pedagogically thought out," "systematic," "succinct," and "eye-opening." I think the other works that are more fundamental, though if you'd like to hear reflections on a long, successful career, this is the book for you.
This is a good overview for basic fight tactics and exercises. Good for beginners or anyone looking for a refresher.
Excellent!!! I got so much out of this. A personal hero of mine since "Highlander". There is also an instructional video he did if you can get your hands on it, well worth it.
