This book is sure to have “frowns turned upside down” with the beautiful illustrations and cheery storyline. Motley the Fox brightens up a town with specially chosen paints that lift the spirits of each character. This book is also a great educational tool as children advance from learning primary colors to more advanced hues. It is bright and cheery, sure to be enjoyed by children and parents alike.
Motley the Fox discovers Gray town and proceeds to put the smiles back on the residence faces by coloring the town. A great resource for young children learn their colors and an inspiration for doing some of their own coloring. I think any young child would enjoy reading this book. Great illustrations and cute characters.
Motley the Fox is a story that follows a wonderful progression to solve the problem of putting the color back into Grey town. Perfect for young children learning about colors with an overriding concept of being thoughtful and helpful to others. Highly recommended.
I thought this book was great for children. I sent it to my sister because i thought my niece would enjoy the art and the story. I would totally recommend this book to anyone with younger children. It is an easy read, so your little one could read along. Great for beginning readers as well. Images were colorful and well drawn. The fox is cute as well! Great book!
I liked that she solved a problem, showed kindness to others, and gratitude. Reading this aloud, it didn't seem to flow well. But I like the point of the story and the kids understood the point of the story and that is most important.
This was a nice concept, but could've been done a lot better. The drawings were cute, but the writing was poor. It starts out with a little writing, and then just kind of drizzles into "The Fox Paints this... " The Fox paints that..."I really could not understand the point? Too juvenile for older children, and writing too complicated for younger.
It didn't hold my five-year-old's attention. The illustrations were colorful which the kids like, but there wasn't an obvious rhyme or at least, we didn't catch on to it. Short, no moral. Quick to kill time with kids.
