Bar none, this is my absolute favorite practice resource. You play out of this, and you can tell if you suck or are having a good day. In the same way, it is a good book to judge equipment and equipment alterations by. You will know which Horn/Mouthpiece, etc.sounds best. Make your tone better. Work on swells. The "Two Outdoor Scenes" is my favorite. Completely melodic in nature, it does have one of the Mozart cliche' pieces in there if you want to wow your friends. A bargain. Get this book.
