Lots of good pictures with bright colors and easy to see. The problem is that the pictures run over the text. The text also runs off the page. It seems as if the book is not set up for kindle reading. I would mark this 5 stars if I could see it all! Hopefully, there will be an update soon that will fix the problems.
This book lays out all you need in supplies for each painting, both paints, brushes and painting knives. Each step of each painting described in detail, and of course photos.My first painting made me look like I actually have talent! Plus it was fun and gratifying. I highly recommend this book.
So glad I decided to get this book. I have many of Bob s books and was curious how an e book would make any difference . It does. The colors are great. And I love having all the information at my fingertips. A definite good buy for Bob Ross fans.
Just purchased this eBook for my Kindle fire and I am soooo impressed! Beautiful and stunning color graphics and the fixed layout is superb. I am an 'aspiring' Bob Ross painter and looking at the how-to photos and step by step instructions is really making me eager to pull out my supplies and have another go at it. I'm glad I wasn't deterred by a couple of the reviews here stating that they were having trouble with this book. Unlike some of the other flowable ebooks I have encountered, the preparation of this book is awesome. I wonder if the negative comments I see here are from people trying to read a Kindle format eBook on their BlackBerry (LOL). Or maybe they need to contact or get support for whatever device they are using, rather than assume that there is a problem with the book itself. GREAT EBOOK. Love you Bob Ross!
I love Bob Ross as a painter and teacher.I bought this to read on the plane last week and wow its great !Very clear pics and the text is spot on. Many great projects but some seem a little hard .Watching the show again is nice as I saw a couple of the projects in this book being done by the man himself !

I have used the Bob Ross technique prior to buying this book. Bob and Annette have put together one of the best painting instruction books. If you want a great book with easy to follow instructions, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this book.
I remember watching Bob Ross on Saturday mornings during my childhood. I'd pull out my paper and water colors and try to paint along. Now several years later and after watching the twitch marathon of The Joy of Painting Bob has inspired me to actually try to make something beautiful. This book captures the spirit of his show and the nice mini biography towards the back of the book and the illustrations make this a perfect read for both fans and students of Bob. I didn't encounter any format issues either like some of the reviews.
