This is a well written and fun to read book, which I would recommend to any beginner (like me). The problem with the kindle edition is that it doesn't come with the CD, like in the paper edition, or at least with links to downloadable MP3s. It is very hard to understand the samples if there is no audio attached. For this sole reason I am giving it three stars instead of the deserving five.
This is a solid beginners harmonica book. But make sure you notice the "optimized for larger screens" for the kindle edition... the ebook version consists of many images scanned from the print edition, which are not legible on a standard compact kindle screen. Would definitely recommend the print version in any case, as you will get the CD.
This book was recommended by my music teacher - I am so grateful! It gives me a great way to practice in between training sessions. The cd is super and helps to train my ear as well as compare my sound to that of someone much better. This is a great start for anyone interested in harmonica.
This book took even an idiot about harmonica's such as myself how to play one. Good book by a knowledgable author.
