These scores are much better than miniature scores, e.g., Eulenberg, and not much moreexpensive. They are beautifully printed and easy to read, and help you to follow, e.g., recordings; when I saw the score I was delighted to hear details of the music which had hitherto escaped my notice, e.g., the bassoon part in Symphony No. 99, first movement, Vivace assai, bars 16-18.
I (rather embarrassingly) figured this out during my final exam in my conducting class. There's a misprint in the trumpet part of Symphony 101 mvt. 4 in measure 142. The first trumpet note is marked as a G. It should be marked as an F. It should sound as a concert G.
This is a great collection of the last Haydn Symphonies, there are much better editions out there but for the price these are a good buy!
