The late Butch Baldasarri was a mandolin virtuoso. This CD was so good that Homespun Tapes put it out as instructional package with accompanying tablature and musical notation. Butch has a bluegrass band with him, comprised of some very talented musicians playing fiddle, guitar etc. The mandolin has a very pleasing tone and the music is very "atmospheric." Some of it has a "Celtic" feeling, for those who are interested. I got a lot of ideas for playing my mandolin from this CD. Highly recommended!
I have really enjoyed this book highly recommend. This book has songs at different levels for beginngers and advanced players !
Great CD and great song book. I'v used this a number of times for church. Very easy to follow and not to hard to play.
