This music book has the fingerings already written in and there are lots of simple songs.I would recommend this music book to someone who wants a couple of simple songs to play on their viola.
The book shows the music of some of the most classic and wonderful melodies. It is a great book for beginners. I highly reccomend it to those young violists who are just beginning thier music carrer.
Beware -- Literally half of this book is an advertisement for other books. And these other books aren't even music books, but rather about health practices. The most bizarre book I've ever received. I will make a studious effort to never purchase anything ever again from this author, or publisher.
This is great. It sounds good and is so easy to play. This would be a great gift for people starting out
I am struggling as an adult to learn to read music and play the viola at the same time, no easy task. The solos in this book aren't really th esolos you would find if you had the actual viola score to these pieces, but they are written in such a way to improve your playing. Highly recommended as an instructional book. My only complaint is that I bought it as a kindle edition and can not read the music without expanding the page to th epoint you can only view one page at a time. I wish I could find a way to print them with a larger font.
