on time and in good shape and will help my granddaughter with her 4th grade viola lessons and a lifetime of enjoying musical skills
My daughter had her first lesson with this book, she's 6. It went well.
I purchased this item for my daughter and she found it to be helpful in helping her understand the basics of playing a viola.
I'm not sure if it's a fair review but I bought this as requested by my sons orchestra teacher. When he brought it to school he was told it was missing the beginning lessons? Hopefully it has whatever is needed for class in the future
I purchased this book instead of the Essential Elements 2000 series, but I quickly found out that the 2000 series just does a better job than this series. Would recommend the other series if possible.However, standing alone, this book does do a good job on teaching the methods for beginning players. I don't want to make it seem like a bad book.
