My husband is a country music fan. I know some of the songs, but not all of them. He likes me to play the piano - but i can't sing well enough for him. So it was a disappointment that many of these songs are written for vocal accompaniment. So much so that the melody line is not in the piano part at all. So unless someone is singing, the song does not sound like the song. I am a returning pianist, after not playing for 20 years, so i am building my skills again. Many of these songs were too difficult for me, and would require practice to play smoothly, partly because the keys have 4 or more sharps or flats. If i had a band, and wanted to break out the bass and guitar, keyboard, etc, it would have worked, but not really for solo piano. This was my shortcoming, however, not the books'!
The book arrived quickly in good condition. It wasn't quite what I expected, however this is not a reflection of the seller. The book is meant for a singer along with piano accompaniment. I would rather have just the piano version without 3 staffs to look at.
This is a great compilation of country songs and has vocal, guitar and piano. Love the songs and the music.
Not what I expected. The piano parts do not always carry the tune. Not good without a vocalist

got this for my daughter that is self learning to play the guitar. and she loves country music. she really was excited to unwrap it.
