Taking a one year course on the New Testament. This is great for listening while driving or reading along at home. This is an experience that aficionados of scripture must take. Recall for millennia the Christian was illiterate and hearing the scripture read was the primary way it was communicated.Solid case and well labeled CDs. Seek function gets you to the beginning of a book easily. Had trouble using with an ancient CD player and the publisher customer support called me back within 24 hours of leaving a message and was very polite.
The reader is understandable and very expressive. He brings to life the characters of the Bible. The New Revised Standard Version is easy to follow. I highly recommend this CD set for someone who would like to listen to the New Testament being read.
THE VOICE IS JUST PERFECT. ITS LIKE LISTENING TO A STORY BEING TOLD. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE TAPES.
