This is the perfect chord book. First of all it is spiral bound, so it won't slam shut on you while your trying to finger a chord on the guitar while looking at the book. Second, it has one chord per page, they are very large and easy to read.This book is not completely bloated by trying to show every inversion of all the major and minor chords, it gives two positions for most chords and then moves on. If you need some crazy inversion then A.) they're easy to figure out from the standard fingering B.) they're all over the internet.Over all this is a great purchase at any price, but I got mine for $4.99 in-store in the bargain bin at Waldenbooks, so look around before ordering it.
I didn't realize how much I loved this book of guitar chords until I wanted to find a similar book for mandolin chords and kept coming up empty-handed. The spiral-bound format makes it easy for you to flip with one hand while holding up your guitar with the other. The right 1/4" of the page serves as a chord index (i.e. A, B, C, F, G, etc) so you can thumb through it very quickly. I picked it up for $4.95 at Borders.If the author or publisher happens to read this, please make a book of mandolin chords in the exact same format!
I am slowly learning how to play the guitar and needed to learn the cords...I ordered this book for my Kindle which works out very well for me....I don't have to look for around the house for my books as my Kindle is always close at hand...
I bought a used guitar chords book on this site and it has been very useful, it really is one chord per page, its very understanable and very portable. It has a large spiral binding so its easy to carry. Overall, its a great, cheap buy!
I have the Spiral Bound and I love it.I also bought the Kindle version and I was a little disappointed that they chose to put 2 pages (spreads) together as one Kindle page. The beauty of the spiral book is that one chord-one page makes for easy reference. This choice is not a convenient as the spiral bound. Please consider an update that puts one chord per page. - Thanks

bought this for granddaughter and she finds it very useful. all the chords she will need and illustrations of where to place each finger, so leaves no doubt about correct fingering
